Guide to Systems and Notations

Common Notations

The color designation of the game lets you know what mood or theme we are aiming for with the game. If you want to vanquish the sharktopus via sharknado, aim for a red game. If you want to experience the rising tension of a ghost-haunted mansion, try out a blue game. Gold games can be any of the above.

Red Games are intended to be dark but a bit less serious and potentially more humorous, exploring lighter themes and focusing on learning the system and solving mysteries/problems.

Blue Games evoke horror or serious subjects and may explore dark themes and personal terrors.

Gold Games are for the slightly more experienced player, or the player who feels confident taking on a more complex rule system.
